Atheer is optimizing its award-winning AiR SuiteEnterprise solution for Moverio smart eyewear. The Android-based software is designed for ‘deskless’ professionals to communicate with remote experts to resolve problems quickly and efficiently, as well as managing task flow creation and deployment, and on-the-go task documentation in a variety of industrial settings.

Epson will demonstrate the AiR Suite for Enterprise on its Moverio Pro BT-2000, a feature-rich smart headset optimized for industrial applications, at Enterprise Wearable Technology Summit East. The show runs tomorrow through this Friday, June 17 at The W Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, demonstrations of the new Epson Moverio BT-300, shipping this fall, will also be available to attendees.

“Our AiR Suite for Enterprise on the Epson Moverio platform can deliver unbounded collaboration, management, and rapid task flow creation and deployment to ‘deskless’ professionals in the industrial space,” said Ryan Fink, VP, Business Development, Atheer. “By leveraging the robust features of Moverio smart eyewear, we can offer an efficient wearable computing solution that makes hands-on work easier and safer.”

“We are working closely with Atheer to offer a compelling solution for enterprises that can benefit from ‘see-what-I-see’ applications in industrial settings,” said Eric Mizufuka, Product Manager, New Ventures for Epson America. “The collaboration with Atheer is part of our ongoing strategy to leverage the best smart eyewear software available to take full advantage of all the capabilities of the Moverio platform.”

The Moverio Pro BT-2000 smart headset features a high-resolution, five-megapixel stereo camera with three-dimensional depth sensing that detects the dimensions and spatial positioning of objects in relation to each other. The headset enables workers in various locations to see exactly what their counterparts are seeing to provide informed support and training. In addition, the Moverio Pro BT-2000 incorporates sensing and connectivity features that enable a wide range of cutting-edge augmented reality and other applications for manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, education and other fields.
